 Trapani 11.03.2011-Dal prossimo 14 marzo 2011 l'Ato Tp1 “Terra dei Fenici” potenzierà la raccolta differenziata porta a porta in tutti i comuni dell'ambito. Il servizio, dopo più di un anno, ha raggiunto ottimi risultati con un valore pari al 40 per cento in tutto il territorio interessato. Tra i comuni più grandi, si distingue la città di Alcamo che nell'anno 2010 ha raggiunto una percentuale complessiva del 50 per cento. Nel dettaglio sono state raccolte nel comune di Alcamo 5.300 tonnellate di rifiuti organici, 2.230 tonnellate di carta e cartone, 962 tonnellate di plastic and 925 tons of glass and metals.
